here is little pip on our first ultrasound. she was waving her arm around a lot and at one point we saw her open her mouth. as you can see, she has a little belly. the technician says this is a good sign that she is eating well and not underweight.
this particular appointment is amazing. they measure everything they can from the brain, cord, legs to the size of the organs. during all of the measuring, the technician was very surprised of how long her femur bones were. amy and i had to explain how tall the donor was, but she was still amazed. everything looked good at the appointment with no concerns or comments on the pictures. yay! the next appointment is set for May 3rd.
Long femur...great! You know the national sport of the Philippines is basketball... ironic, isn't it?
