amy has been working hard putting all of the baby furniture together. the crib, bookcase and even the ikea shelves that are in the closet. good work amy! things are coming along, but we are looking forward to some other neat additions to the room including curtains and bumper pads that my co-worker is sewing for us and the paintings that stephanie is taking charge of. we are hoping that the framily will be able to come together and be a part of her creation. they are going to hang directly over the crib. amy also found the rug below. it is really hard to find a circular rug and one that isn't super expensive! crossing our fingers that toby doesn't christen it before pip gets here. 
also on order, is a comfy glider. i figured since we will be spending many hours in the chair, we might as well pick a cozy, comfortable piece of furniture. i can't believe that this room was once a guest room! soon it will be filled with dirty diapers, wipes and the sounds of a baby crying. hopefully it will be more like laughter, music and the smell of fresh laundry? special thanks to amy's dad (grandpa bob) for installing the lovely beadboard or wainscoting that goes around the entire room. it really transforms the room making it bright and happy.
